Testimonials

Testimonials help future students to understand and realize the benefits of practicing Yoga. If you haven't provided us yours yet, please feel free to send us your testimonial.

Here's what some of our students are saying:

"Yoga is so much more powerful when its lead by a spiritual teacher in a sacred place. After going to several gyms and studios, I finally found the balance I was looking for. Pranoga offers the full experience with meditation and breath, not just poses and stretches. Aditya G. has a powerful presence that took my yoga to a deeper level with less movement. Only a true master can lead a student to experience how less is so much more." - Matthew H.

"I really value your time and dedication to teach Yoga. As you always repeat in every class, Yoga is about the union of the mind, body and soul. It is through this practice that my mindfulness and physical health are improving. And therefore, even in the noisy confusion of life I can appreciate that beauty is not about perfection and that this is indeed a beautiful world! Thank you, one more time, for your classes." - Yolanda P.

"I have found your classes to be most beneficial in so many aspects, particularly my health and overall just feeling good and strong. The added bonus is its helping me feel peace within during such hard personal time in my life. I wish I could go everyday!!!" - Barbara R.

"I was able to do yoga poses I never thought possible and could never do with other teachers. I started with severe back pain and it is virtually gone by the end of the course. The teacher's gentle guidance allows you to challenge your body to reach new levels of flexibility and endurance, regardless of age and weight." - Lorena T.

"The teacher was great! He encouraged us to improve and be better every day." - Angela R.

"Personal body-muscle improvement. Great health class! I will highly recommend this class to improve our overall health." - Victoria C.

"I had practiced yoga in my 20s...I enjoyed rediscovering its benefits in my 60s...teacher was patient and understanding." - Steven F.

"The beginner yoga course let us connect with our inner selves more than in any other yoga course. It was an amazing experience from head to toe!" - Rodrigo A.

"It is an honor for me having classes with you." - Maria-Libertad D.

"I thoroughly enjoyed Saturday's morning class. The 2 hours flew by so fast you couldn't tell it was that long. I thought the pace at which you taught class was great for everyone no matter what level. Looking forward to the next class." - Luz U.

Aditya Gir

Aditya Gir, RYT Aditya "Adi" Gir is Founder and Director of Pranoga. Adi was born and raised in India. He was exposed to Yoga and the Vedanta philosophy at an early age. Adi practiced Yoga as a child, but it was short-lived. After finishing high school, he moved to South Florida and pursued a degree and career in computer science (view his professional profile) and graduated from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. However, he always felt that he had another calling.

After going through a year and half of tough health issues, he finally recovered by doing pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) for just one week. "It was nearly a miracle!", he exclaims. Adi decided to teach a casual class to his friends and found his calling.

Adi's re-introduction to Yoga was in the year 2000, in a course from the Art of Living foundation in Mumbai, India. This foundation emphasizes on the Vedanta philosophy and way of life as well as the practice of a modified version of pranayama called Sudarshan Kriya. In 2007, he then became a certified Pranic Healer (Energy Healer) from the Yoga Vidya Pranic Healing Foundation, in Pune, India. His advanced pranayama training was from the Indian Heritage Society, also in Pune, India.

Adi went on to obtain his Yoga teacher's certification from the world-renowned International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. Swami Vishnu-devananda was the founder of this organization and was a pioneer in starting the Yoga Teacher Training Course, or TTC as it is referred to within that organization. The organization is named after his teacher, Swami Sivananda.

Swami Vishnu-devananda's goal was to promote Yoga to the modern world and bring peace in the process. He called his mission True World Order (TWO). This organization has now graduated tens of thousands of Yoga teachers worldwide. Adi trained under Swami Paramananda as well as Swami Sadasivananda and Srinivasan, both direct disciples of Swami Vishnu-devananda. Adi strives to teach in the classical style of Hatha Yoga (the most widely practiced style of Yoga), as taught by his teachers.
